The Club Tire Claw installs in seconds and has a self locking feature which makes it incredibly very easy to use. The Tire Claw fits a maximum 6.3" tire width and has a black vinyl dip that protects the wheel rim. The lock has a plastic cover to guard it from the elements. Additional security is offered with a laser-encrypted key that can not be copied. The 493 CLAW is a wonderful product if it fits the tire. I bought it for my GOLF CART with the standard 8" tire and wheel size. It will "NOT" work on that size tire and wheel even though the add picture shows that it will. FYI...the 491 or the XL is much too big for a golf cart tire but another fine product given the right fit.
I ended up spending a bit more money and bought a removeable steering wheel by "GRANT" to protect my investment and it works fine.
I am very happy with the lock for my scooter. It was shipped well and use it to secure my scooter on the porch.
I forgot and tried to move the scooter while the lock was on and it will not unlock if you do this. I had to call the manufacturing company. It will unlock if you get the scooter back in the position the tire was in before you moved it. Even a inch makes a difference.
Also found I could have purchased it from the company much cheaper.
