This jack has unsealed bearings at the thruster end (near the handle) which quickly get dirty, lose their grease and lose their effectiveness. At the other end, where the screw goes through the body and does the lifting, it is just metal on metal and gets very hard to turn once the jack starts to load up.
I use it as an emergency jack for my small travel trailer; I hope I never have to use it because it's a pain.
I bought this jack for emergency purposes. I had a chance to use it recently, and I was very disappointed. The handle is very difficult to turn. I would return it, but the postage-paid return date has passed.
